A person who has flu symptoms should be seen by a doctor if any of the following are true:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Difficulty in breathing or wheezing sounds while breathing<\/li>\n<li>Chest or stomach pain<\/li>\n<li>Dizziness or lightheadedness<\/li>\n<li>Repeated vomiting and inability to hold fluids<\/li>\n<li>Diarrhea<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally people with the following pre-existing conditions should also consult a doctor if they have flu symptoms:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Asthma<\/li>\n<li>Diabetes<\/li>\n<li>HIV, AIDS<\/li>\n<li>Cancer, or another chronic condition<\/li>\n<li>Those over 65<\/li>\n<li>Women who are pregnant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Also go to a doctor or emergency room if symptoms were getting milder but come back accompanied by bad cough and fever.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The flu goes away by itself with proper home care, but sometimes a doctor visit is necessary.
